HEX-Editor plugin for Notepad++ is a compact but useful text tool that enables users to view text in hexadecimal mode. The plugin can be easily accessed from the Plugins menu. With this tool, text can be viewed in hex, octal or binary in an advanced manner. Other text-related features include compare, bookmark, clear results, substitute, clear file type and others. There is no need to restart the application to switch between views, as they can be accessed instantly.
The plugin is a simple text tool that comes with an advanced layout configuration. You can access this tool from the Plugins menu. The tool consists of four main views, namely Hex, Octal, Binary and Big-Endian.
In Hex view mode, you can view and compare hex codes. In order to do so, use the up/down keys to highlight the hex code you want to compare, as well as to browse through the list of hex codes. The plugin will let you perform these functions. For instance, if you have a hex code like 5 00 00 00 FF and you want to compare it to 5 000 000 000 FF, just highlight the number string with the mouse and press the Compare button. The result will appear in the preview window and can be copied by pressing the copy button. You can choose to clear results in case you want to start again. In addition, you can also search for a hex code in the list and replace it with any other value you want.
When using the plugin in Octal view mode, you can view and compare octal codes. The up/down keys will highlight and de-highlight any number you want to compare. For example, if you have an octal code like A 1000, highlight that and press the Compare button. You will then be able to copy the result or clear it to start over.
The Binary view is where you can view and compare binary codes. The up/down keys highlight and de-highlight the number. Just click the Compare button to compare two codes. You can use the Copy and Clear buttons to select the result and start again.
The Big-Endian view is where you can view and compare big-endian values. The up/down keys will highlight and de-highlight the numbers. If you have a code like 5 00 00 00 FF and the first two characters are 5, highlight them with the mouse and press the Compare button. You can then choose eea19f52d2

The app is easy to use, free and very customizable.
As an avid Slack user and always getting annoyed with the same set of issues, I decided to try out Rocket.Chat and it’s working like a charm so far. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and I can safely say it’s the easiest chat I have ever used.
It’s working well. We’re using it at work to handle our channels and it is the best we’ve had, far superior to a messaging platform that it replaced. I was able to move all of the existing chats we were using with that messaging platform into it, and it was a seamless transition.
Here’s a few of the features that I like:
– very easy to add a voice or video chat channel.
– you can give multiple users the ability to host a channel.
– easy integration with 3rd party services (e.g. GitLab)
– you can take chat histories and list them.
– you can moderate channels (for example, you can set an expiration date on a channel to stop it from being available after a specified date).
– you can create groups
